Landcare is a partnership between all Australians and the Government; between farmers and conservationists; between the land and landowners. It is a movement to that was first fostered by a partnership between the Australian Soil Conservation Council, the National Farmers’ Federation and the Australian Conservation Foundation.

With the professional advice and campaign management services provided by Compton, $10 million was raised from sources across Australia to establish a Foundation and put a practical programme into action to achieve sustainable land use.
