In mid 2001, a Compton team was placed at the UK's oldest hospice. Working with the Board, volunteers, staff and in-house fundraisers, £2 million was raised in nine months across annual, major gift and legacy programmes.
We are pleased to be working in partnership with the Hospice once again to plan and manage Trinity's next phase of capital fundraising to raise £6 million for the redevelopment of the Hospice's wards.
With approaching £5 million raised in pledges and other commitments and strong volunteer leadership targeting the remaining funding, we are confident that this flagship palliative care project will succeed.
Most recently, a special dinner at Clarence House, the first in this setting, presided over by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, celebrated the Hospice's work and the Duchess' Patronage of Trinity.
In 2006, all of the Hospice's fundraising and marketing operations were transferred to Compton, and fundraising continues to go from strength to strength. Keep a look out for Trinity's new 'Larger than Life' celebrity programme. |
