To celebrate its 600th Anniversary in 2011 – 2013, the University appointed Compton to complete the Planning Phase of the £100 million capital campaign, including the preparation of a comprehensive programme of celebratory events.

Adding capacity to the existing development team, Compton consultants helped secure over £23 million in leadership gifts as well as recruit an influential and active Campaign Board comprising leaders in British industry and public life.
