The demands of a modern education have required major investments in improving facilities, particularly in girl's schools where in the senior years academic resources are vital to success. The Governors of Annesley College resolved to raise $1.5 million to build and equip a state-of-the-art 6th Form Centre that would not only benefit the senior girls at the School, but also others seeking further education in Adelaide. Through a concerted and systematic approach to old girl's and current parents, the target was raised during a major fundraising campaign planned and managed by Compton International.
