Gina Cuthbert, CFRE

Gina joined Compton as a Campaign Manager in 2001, then became a Campaign Director before being appointed Managing Partner in 2007. Through her professional experience locally and abroad, she has refined campaign management to an art, consistently instilling confidence with volunteers, clients and donors.

Gina has conducted numerous Resources Studies and developed fundraising plans and strategies, helping organizations find opportunities, focus their priorities and overcome challenges. She has a superb ability to inspire persistence in achieving goals, persistence that has helped many clients secure seven-figure gifts.

David brings a transparent enthusiasm for philanthropy raising both capital and operating dollars in the health, social service, international development, arts and education sectors. He has raised funds for small organizations, most recently $6.3 million to build BC’s first long-term residential treatment facility for youth challenged by addiction or, as part of UBC’s leadership team, in excess of $100 million annually. David has the ability to find that link connecting the right donor to the right project.

A seasoned speaker and trainer, David continues as an instructor for BCIT’s Essentials of Fundraising program and leads board-training workshops as part of Volunteer Vancouver’s Leadership Development Program.

Kristin brings a variety of experience from many sectors to her role at Compton, having worked on Resources Studies, capital campaigns, direct mail campaigns, estate planning, event planning, donor communications and stewardship. She has worked with many notable organizations, including the Pacific Salmon Foundation, Camp Artaban Society, BC SPCA, Vancouver Foundation and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

Known to be highly focused and results-oriented, her commitment is fuelled by her energy, enthusiasm and exceptional organizational skills, as well as a passion for success.

Anna complements the Compton team with a unique professional background including experience in fundraising and development, communications and civic government.

During her years with Compton, Anna has had the privilege of working with many not-for-profit organizations in the health, civic and arts sectors on capital campaigns, studies and annual fundraising. She brings to all her projects strong organizational skills and a keen understanding of the need for strategic messaging, a skill set honed during her time working with the Mayor of Vancouver.

Formerly the President of Compton’s North American team, he now serves as Special Advisor and continues to play a vital role in establishing Compton as the consultancy of choice for not-for-profits. Don has a remarkable background in both business and fundraising, which brings a deep understanding to the clients he serves.
