About Workshops
From time to time, members of the Compton team conduct workshops on specific fundraising topics. The session is run over a morning or an afternoon, for no charge.

Workshop topics are selected from those requested by Compton clients and previous workshop attendees, such as:

  • How do I comprehensively plan for a capital campaign?
  • Where do major gifts come from?
  • How do I successfully ask for a gift?
  • Where do powerful and influential volunteer leaders come from?
  • What sort of fundraising communication plan do I need?

These events are intended to improve the understanding of the principles of fundraising amongst leaders in the not-for-profit sector. In a practical way, participants are encouraged to examine current fundraising challenges and gain an appreciation of how they can develop and implement effective solutions for their own organisations.

Each workshop caters for groups of fewer than twenty participants, selected to ensure a high-level of cross learning for all those involved (including the Compton team).

If you are interested in being invited to attend a workshop, or have a topic to suggest, please respond by completing the request form.
