North London Hospice – emergency appeal for PPE
Since the outbreak of Coronavirus, our fundraising team at North London Hospice has been working tirelessly to meet the funding gap following the closure of shops and cancellation of events.
The local community’s response to the emergency appeal has been incredibly generous – and not just in the form of cash donations.
We also put out a request to the North London community for urgently needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and, remarkably, have had over 22,000 masks donated as well as goggles, gloves, aprons and 3D-printed bespoke visors.
This overwhelming support has in turn, enabled the Hospice to share much needed items of PPE with other local charities and care homes.
A massive thank you to everyone in the North London Hospice community.
