Supporting all creatures great and small

World Animal Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate the work and commitment of thousands of not-for-profit organisations around the world who support animal protection, conservation and welfare.

It has been our privilege to work with thought leaders and thousands of volunteers and donors all over the world who are fighting back against the dramatic decline of wildlife populations and habitat.

From elephants – with the Born Free Foundation, Save the Elephants and Pangea Trust – to butterflies, moths and caterpillars with Butterfly Conservation and the Wildlife Trusts.

From mega habitat and wildlife restoration projects such as The Great Fen project in Cambridgeshire, RSPB’s Wallasea Island and Landcare Australia, through to the window boxes, urban gardens and wild spaces supported by volunteer groups in so many different settings.

There is no lack of caring and committed volunteers, citizen scientists and donors willing to support our wildlife, pets and working animals.

Where this kind of commitment, passion and fundraising can be harnessed there is always hope.
